Pulp Fiction Sweding Project Behind The Scenes + Sweding Project Product
We have finished our sweding project for the film Pulp Fiction. We decided to do the gold watch monologue scene, and we had many issues and obstacles to overcome. During pre-production, we had to make a script of the entire dialogue and camera movements. After we had made that, we had to plan our outfits. Now personally, I do not have Butch’s outfit So I was forced to wear something similar. I wore a gray sweater and matching pants to simulate what a kid would wear in the house.
Our actor for Captain Koons, Anthony had to wear a sort of suit so that he can match captain Koon’s outfit. We did not have access to a military hat or a hat that goes with a suit so we do not include it inside the Sweding project. Next mise-en-scene we needed was a watch, but we do did not have a watch so we ended up having to improvise and use a ring. Then I had to make a TV prop so that we could film what it would be like when Butch turned off the TV.
After our prop was finished, we decided to start recording. Our first major problem that came up was that our schedules did not fully align together, so we only had one lunch to film the scene. We each had to convince our teachers to let us skip class for one period, and then make up the work in our study hall. After we started recording, I find out that our actor has trouble memorizing the lines and he did not memorize the lines properly.
